      Description: The top baffle can be used with the stock vertical baffle (spacers and additional vertical plate are included to raise the top baffle up) or an aftermarket raised vertical baffle. Reason to use this kind of top baffle is to prevent oil from leaving the oilpan and going into the timing case during heavy braking. Upon subsequent turn-in the oil starvation could lead to damage to the rod bearings.
