Its ironic you should reply - you offered me a set almost 2 years ago at Ian Haynes' home if you remember? I still have the box you gave me! (it was the box that the calipers were in).
Mine have started to leak and bind, so I think a renewal is needed.
If I remember correctly, yours were painted red? I would like to make an offer, but do not know of their value. Whats their condition like?Profile Henry

I remember you well, I also remember that after you had gone that both of us felt a certain amount of guilt that neither of us offered to take you out in one of the cars for a spin. The calipers are in very good condition having had new seals fitted not long before I took them off. I don't want to do myself out of a sale but have you considered renewing the piston seals and dust covers they are very cheap from BMW. If they are beyond that then I'd be looking somewhere round £275 for the pair.
Regards
Henry

Im glad you remember me - I actually went back to see Ian who said the same thing. We then went out in his car, and it was more impressive than I had imagined. It was a shame that there wasnt enough time to go out in yours - from what I have read it really is a lethal bit of kit! A celebrity in the world of BMWs.
I really appreciate the advise also - it is most noble of you. I will buy the seals and dust covers to see if they will do.
If not, I will get back in touch!
I hope you are well, and wish you and your family my best wishes.
Merry Christmas, and kind regards,

The biggest problem is getting the pistons out. I took my calipers off then struggled to remove the pistons, in hindsight I would have removed the pads, put my foot on the brake and just popped them out, it doesn't matter about the loss of fluid as you'll need to renew it anyway. I believe the P/N I used were,
Repair kit brake caliper 34 11 1 153 202
Repair kit guide bush 34 11 1 157 038
Good luck with the repair.
Cheers
Henry
PS
Hopefully catch you at one of the meets next year

A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you! Apologies for the late reply, ive been away for the holidays.
Thank you for the advice, and more importantly the part numbers! I will be sure to order them from my local dealer. And also, for the tip on popping the piston out.
I look forward to meeting you again,
Warm Regards,
