    Hi there,


    Assuming you mean the Evo2 grey check cloth that goes in the inserts


    Pick up a set of E30 318is seats from E-Bay or from E30 Zone - they come up very regularly - I got a mint set recently for £60 quid - max yor'll pay is about a £100 - the check cloth is identical and rear benches/passenger seats are often in mint condition.

    Thanks for the info; however, my understanding is the 318is cloth is a different shade so it won't work for me.

    Haven't heard that before - I've put the 318is seats I brought side by side with my Evo2 seats - the cloth looks absolutely identical to my eyes....Is the code different??

    I was just going by what I read on another forum but that forum was in the US so perhaps BMW used the same shade as the Evo II in Europe but not in the US as that seems plausible. These are the codes I found but they seem to be only for the Evo II:
