Caveat emptor: Scammer active

Looking for: Yesterday I received an email from someone calling himself Logan Hardy. I have a "wanted" ad for a Schrick 292. He said he had one and asked $300,- to be tranfered by Moneygram (first red flag). I took a look at the pictures he attached and it was a 292... for an m10 (second red flag). I wrote him I wasn't interested because of this and he then told me he ALSO had a 292 for an s14 (third red flag). He send me some pictures of it.
I then googled "schrick 292" and lo and behold! the pictures of both the ohc and dohc models he sent me, showed up on the first page.
So I googled his name (nothing) and then the name of his wife to whom the money was to be transfered to: Karren Hardy from Kansas. Then I found this: http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/glenn-hardy/kansas-city-kansas-66012/glenn-hardy-aka-karren-hardy-aka-gnhard7-western-union-moneygram-theft-kansas-city-kansas-1105612
So be careful if someone named Hardy from Kansas contacts you and happens to have that part you so desperatly need. In fact, never pay via Moneygram etc. Keywords: Caveat emptor: Scammer active
